The Challenge
Reproduction and prints on canvas for private collection of Canelettos original paintings.
Shooting artwork on location
Due to the high value of the artwork, we photographed the originals on location. Using a combination of specialist lighting, high resolution medium format digital and Zeiss Apochromatic optics, we were able to capture colour matched files on site.
Large format Giclée canvases
Once proofs were matched and signed off by the collector, we were commissioned to produce large format canvas prints at life size matched to the original. The prints were finished using specialist giclée varnish and framed into aged framed.
